Strawberry Jalapeño Shrub Recipe
Crab Walk
2 oz HVT Cancer Tea
1 oz HVT Strawberry Jalapeno Shrub
Sparkling Coconut with Yuzu (Trader Joe’s)
Combine first two ingredients over ice and stir. Top with Sparkling Coconut with Yuzu.
Garnish with 1/2 of a fresh strawberry
Pride Mama
2 oz HVT Cancer Tea
1 oz HVT Strawberry Jalapeno shrub
1/2 oz Fresh Mint Simple
Topo Chico (or other plain sparkling water)
Combine first three ingredients in a shaker and add ice. Shake and strain over fresh ice. Top with Top Chico
Garnish with strawberries, jalapeño or fresh mint bouquet
Spice up your Life
3 oz sparkling water
1 oz HVT Strawberry Jalapeño Shrub
Juice of 1/2 a lime.
1/2 oz agave
Combine all ingredients in glass and stir well. Top with ice.
*To make with alcohol, add 1.5 oz of tequila or vodka and reduce sparkling water.
Summer Vibes
3 oz Brazilian Lemonade (see recipe below)
1.5 oz HVT Strawberry Jalapeño Shrub
Combine ingredients in shaker and add ice. Shake and pour all contents into rocks glass. Garnish with a strawberry, jalapeño slice or sprig of fresh mint.
Brazilian Lemonade
4 Organic Whole Limes (washed and cut into quarters)
1/2 cup Sweetened Condensed Milk (or sub Sweetened Condensed Coconut Milk for a vegan version)
3 cups water
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend on high for 10 - 15 seconds max. Any longer may make the blend too bitter.
Fine strain into a bottle and chill to save, or pour directly over ice to enjoy now!
Gemini Season
2 oz HVT Gemini Tea (brewed + chilled)
1 oz HVT Strawberry Jalapeño Shrub
1/4 oz Lime Juice
Trader Joe’s Sparkling Coconut with Yuzu
In a rocks glass filled with ice, add the tea, shrub and lime juice. Stir while topping with the sparkling coconut with yuzu. Garnish with a fresh strawberry or lime wedge. Enjoy!
